Dan is an experienced international art educator and portfolio consultant, currently serving as Head of Art at UWCSEA East Campus—one of the world’s leading international schools. Over the past decade, he has taught in top-tier institutions across Beijing, Seoul, and Singapore, shaping the artistic journeys of students from around the globe. Holding a Master’s in Education, Dan combines pedagogical expertise with a deep commitment to nurturing individual creativity.

In addition to leading vibrant, innovative art departments, Dan has developed rigorous Visual Arts curricula that balance technical mastery with conceptual depth. His community-based art initiatives have earned him multiple nominations for the International School Awards, recognising the impact of his projects beyond the classroom.

As an IB Visual Arts Examiner, Dan brings a sharp understanding of assessment standards, while his direct collaborations with portfolio admissions teams from leading art, design, and architecture schools worldwide—including RISD, Parsons, MICA, Cambridge, UAL, and CalArts—give him rare, first-hand insight into what top programs are looking for.
